-LMT AntiMalware uses cloud security technology (for the purpose of collecting records known as "fingerprints" of files on the user's computer and sending associated information to the Server for analysis for the purpose of identifying the files' security levels. According to the general international standard algorithm, of which the most frequently used are MD5, SHA1, etc., a file's fingerprint provides unique identity information, which commonly is comprised of dozens of bytes of numbers and letters. Once the user enabled "Automatically send files to Virustotal", "Use VirusTotal to check for malware when starting a process", "Use CloudDatabase" and "Automatically scan suspicious processes with CloudAV" option in the LMT AntiMalware, LMT AntiMalware will transfer the file fingerprint of files, upon demand, upload the sample of program files, which contains only the program files and not the private information of the user.
